Welcome back guys!!
This blog post is all about how to keep your dry skin calm and healthy looking. Now If you have been following me from the start yous would know that I have had a bad time with my skin, From It been really flaky to bleeding and cracking. Its not nice at all, So I have a few products that I will tell you's about that is helping my skin. Things like shower gels, body lotion, tan, deodorant etc. So lets get started.
To me personally I think that is really important to find a good body gel for the shower. I have tried a few like Aveno, Sanex, Johnston & Johnston ect and they were fine but I wasn't 100% happy with them. The Two that I love is the Dove deeply nourishing body wash and the N
These are so soothing on my skin. They make my skin so soft, no irrations and no dryness. All my dry patches are gone and I don't really get any itchiness.
The only tan I have found that doesn't stick to my eczema patches is the Iconic Bronze. I can not stress out how much I love this tan!! If you haven't tried It Please do because it's so amazing. I have a review on it I'll pop the link in:
It just makes my skin look so healthy and glowly. I get 4-5 days out of my tan and I try to moisturize every-night but lets face it, I don't get around to it. I'd get 3-4 of them days, so my skin stays hydrated. It doesn't stick to my dryness or casts a shadow around it. I use to be so weary about my dry patches as it would be really dark and you could defiantly see it. Its only €12 in Penny's/Primark. Highly recommended.
Such an odd product but deodorant is my next product. I have been using Mitchals deodorant for years, as long as I can remember. But I had to stop using it as it was making me itchy. It really dried out my skin and it felt so uncomfortable. It was the best one to stop you from sweating 100%, now I still use it but only If I was going out on a night out or going somewhere fancy. Now I use dove original and its so much better. doesn't irritate the skin, no smelly smell from it, totally fresh. Keeps you smelling good all day long. I have a Sticker on mine as everyone in my house has one.
I have noticed too that what I was eating was effecting my skin as well. I'm not on a mad diet or tracking my calories but I just try and stay away from things that i know aren't to good for you. Of course I have cheat days where I'd have Chinese/Chipper for dinner, but I try my best to stay away.
Water is another big part of keeping your skin hydrated. Me and water don't really get along. I just don't like the taste at all. I have no liking for it. I put dilute into my water. I know that it's full of sugar but it's better then dehydrating myself. Sometimes I put fruit in my water too, as It will give it a bit of flavor.
